In 2022, Meta faced an existential threat from TikTok’s rapid rise and dominance in short-form video. I identified key blockers—misaligned strategies across six teams, user barriers to creation, and competitive pressures from TikTok’s unconnected trends—and spearheaded efforts to align teams around a unified strategy to overcome them. Through structured workshops and a 46-person design sprint, I defined a North Star vision and synthesized it into Facebook’s 2023 Reels Creation Plan. This work introduced transformative ideas like AI-powered creation tools, co-creation features, and contextual identities, positioning Reels as the most inspiring and participatory short-form video platform for billions.

I led the transformation of Walmart’s Associate Listening program from a collection of disconnected surveys and feedback channels to a fully integrated AI-powered employee engagement platform within the Walmart Associate app. By aligning cross-functional leadership and mentoring my team to execute at scale, we introduced actionable insights and intelligent tools that expanded manager access to feedback by 230%, improved decision-making speed tenfold, and saved $3.75M annually—all while meeting a high bar for design quality.
